Program
Goals:
1. Decrease levels of obesity or reduce the rate of growth
of obesity in communities reached through
interventions.
2. Increase the number of community and State policies, environmental
support and legislative actions planned, initiated and
modified for the prevention and control of obesity.
3. Increase caloric expenditure and decrease caloric intake through
effective interventions in communities reached.
4. Increase the number of evaluated nutrition and physical activity
interventions for obesity prevention and
